Allen & Heath AHM-32 32x32 matrix processor
Delivery 2-3 Working days
Description
A conference room that also serves as a reception area, a restaurant with three separate zones, a hotel lobby with a paging system that also needs to feed music to the bar. One venue, dozens of audio sources, and the requirement that everything runs flawlessly without daily attention. The Allen & Heath AHM-32 is exactly the audio processor AV installers need for projects like this!

Ideal for
- AV installers and system integrators for fixed multi-zone installations
- Hospitality: hotels, restaurants and conference centers with multiple audio zones
- Corporate: meeting rooms, auditoriums and open office environments with paging
- Education: campus installations, lecture halls and classrooms with distributed audio
- Entertainment and event venues: theaters, sports arenas and multipurpose halls
Pro Tip: For video conferencing applications, plan the AEC module (sold separately) into your rack at the design stage. That module occupies the AHM-32's internal expansion slot, so you can't also fit a network audio card (Dante/SLink) alongside it. Make sure the local I/O or an external expander chassis provides enough channels instead.
In the box

FAQ
Can I expand the AHM-32 with Dante without losing the AEC module?
Not both at once via the internal slot: the AHM-32 has a single expansion slot for either a network audio card (Dante, MADI, SLink, Waves) or the AEC/FBS processing module. If you need both, look at the AHM-64, or handle the AEC side with an external Dante device on your network.
Is the Dante card included?
No, the Dante 96kHz option card is sold separately. The standard AHM-32 only works with the local 12x12 analog I/O until you fit a card.
Can a non-technical user operate the zones themselves?
Yes. Using the 8 programmable SoftKeys on the front panel or IP remote controllers, you can create a user profile where someone can only adjust the volume or source of their zone, without access to the full system configuration. The Custom Control app also lets you build custom interfaces for tablet or smartphone.
An installation project deserves a processor that grows with the venue's requirements. Order now at Pro Gear and we'll help you pick the right option cards and expander configuration for your specific setup.
