Description
The Allen & Heath SQ-6 is a 48-channel digital mixer built around the XCVI 96kHz FPGA engine, the engine behind class-leading audio quality and system latency under 0.7ms. With 24 onboard preamps, 25 motorized faders across six layers, and 12 configurable stereo mixes, you get the complete toolset for small to mid-size live sound, with no compromises.
The 7 inch capacitive touchscreen and the illuminated encoders around it give direct visual feedback and hands-on control, without constantly digging through menus. Thanks to the DEEP processing architecture, you load boutique compressor and preamp emulations directly onto inputs and mix channels, with no extra latency and no external hardware needed. Eight stereo FX engines with dedicated return channels and access to the RackExtra FX library deliver studio-class effects at every channel level. The SLink EtherCON port expands the system to 48 mic inputs with an AB- or AR-series stage box, or you can install an optional Dante or Waves card in the I/O slot for network audio.

FAQ
How many tracks can I record to USB via SQ-Drive?
SQ-Drive records up to 16 tracks at once as WAV at 24-bit/96kHz straight to a USB stick. For 32-channel streaming to a DAW on your laptop, use the USB-B connection via the built-in 32x32 audio interface.
How stable is the SQ MixPad app on a gig?
The app works well for remote IEM mixes or as a second operator, but for stable wireless control on a gig, a dedicated Wi-Fi router is recommended. Connect it via the RJ45 network port and avoid shared networks with public traffic.
