Description
This revolutionary award-winning amplifier is designed as a two-channel amplifier using Class D amplifier technology. It can power low-impedance stereo systems with a maximum output of 2 x 80 Watts, while bridging to constant voltage (100V and 70V) is possible with a maximum output power of 160 Watts. A switching power supply supports a wide range of mains voltages for worldwide compatibility.
The integrated SourceCon™ module* lets you implement any available compatible module, delivering a true all-in-one solution. Typical uses include an audio streaming module or an internet radio module. In addition, a stereo line input lets you connect any type of external audio source.
A balanced mic/line input allows connection of a paging microphone, with condenser microphone compatibility via the integrated phantom power (15V). A priority switch overrides the background music when activated, and compatibility with line-level sources (e.g. voice file players) is ensured by a wide gain range (0 dB ~ +50 dB). This gain control sets the sensitivity of both the rear and front line inputs. The 2.8" TFT display and front-panel rotary knob deliver an unmatched user experience.
Note: the RCA input is combined with the rear line input, meaning the rear input is disabled whenever the front input is in use.
A line-out connection on the rear panel makes the unit even more versatile. This line out can be used as a preamp output, matching the input and volume of the internal amplifier, or as a separate secondary stereo zone output, where both zones (inputs, volume control, and more) can be operated fully independently.
A priority mute contact on the rear panel mutes the music whenever a contact closure occurs between the two terminals. Enabling priority on the mic input cancels the mute, allowing emergency announcements or voice messages.
The MFA series can be controlled via RS232, RS485, and TCP/IP, enabling integration with home & industrial automation systems and peripherals. Using the freely available AUDAC Touch™ 2 app, you can control and configure it from any portable or non-portable device, anywhere, anytime.
Desktop installation or equipment rack mounting is possible using the MBS1xx series mounting adapters. The half 19" rack-space enclosure allows standalone installation in a 10.5" equipment rack, or side-by-side (two units) in a 19" equipment rack.
When the (optional) ANI44XT Dante™ audio network interface is installed, music from the installed SourceCon™ module or the connected line input can be shared across your Dante™ audio network with other compatible devices or amplifiers. With Dante™, you can even play priority announcements to the audience with near-zero latency (100 ms).
