Description
The XMP44 is a professional modular audio system with 4 SourceCon™ interface card slots, on which a wide variety of optional modules can be installed.
The range of available modules varies from FM tuners to DAB & DAB+ tuners, internet radio tuners, voice file interfaces, and much more. The flexible architecture allows any project combination of up to four sources, resulting in a truly versatile solution that meets the needs of any user who values crystal-clear audio reproduction. Simultaneous operation of all four modules makes it a compact multi-source system that is the perfect expansion for any multi-zone audio system.
The system's front panel features a 2.8" TFT display combined with a rotary knob and 4 tactile push buttons. The controls and indicators on the unit's front panel guarantee intuitive, user-friendly operation, so even inexperienced users can operate and configure the unit without any trouble.
Four USB interfaces (one for each module) allow media and voice files to be played back or stored, while each output can be pre-monitored via a built-in PFL speaker with individual volume control.
Both RS-232 and TCP/IP communication ports are implemented, enabling system integration with any home or industrial automation system. Using the freely available AUDAC Touch™ app for smart devices guarantees full control and configuration of the system from any device, at any location, at any time.
An optional Dante™ interface is available for the XMP44. Installing this network interface makes it possible to receive and send high-quality, low-latency audio over a standard Ethernet network.
