Description

That hum that only shows up once your laptop's connected to the PA, and then nags through the whole set. Ground loops and USB noise cost you time you don't have on a gig, and a borrowed DI box only half-fixes it. The CoDI-MK3 tackles it at the source: this USB audio interface with galvanic isolation fully decouples your computer from the rest of the chain. What comes out is a clean, balanced XLR signal you plug straight into your mixer or stage box.

The strength lies in combining a DAC and DI in one housing. The USB connection is galvanically isolated, so interference currents between laptop and stage never touch your audio. The outputs are electronically balanced on XLR with a solid +10 dBu, plenty for long cable runs to FOH. The unit is class compliant: plug in, select the output, play. No drivers, no installation, no surprises right before doors open.

FAQ

Do I still need a separate DI box?

No. The balanced XLR outputs and galvanic isolation take over that role, so you go straight to the mixer or stage box.

Is 16-bit and 48 kHz enough for live use?

Plenty for playback, tracks, and DJ sets. If you want to record multichannel at higher resolution, look at a studio interface instead.

Do I need to install drivers?

No, the unit is class compliant. Plug in, select it as the output in your system settings, and you're off.

Can I record with it too?

No, the CoDI-MK3 is output-only. There are no mic, line, or instrument inputs.
