Description
The Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT is a stunning set of black, high-quality monitor speakers with Bluetooth® functionality. They work great as studio monitors, but also as powerful speakers next to a computer or DJ controller. Flip the switch and the DSP settings optimize automatically. Use the RCA input, 3.5 mm mini-jack or the new TRS input to connect external devices like a DJ controller, mixer or your laptop to the Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT speakers. The grooves on the sides of the Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT speakers reduce air resistance, so the bass stays tight even when the speakers are placed against a wall.
Studio & desktop speaker with Bluetooth
The Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT is a stunning set of high-quality monitor speakers. They work as studio monitors but also as powerful speakers next to a computer or DJ controller. Thanks to the 2-way setup with a 5-inch woofer and a perfectly matched tweeter, the Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT delivers tight bass and crystal-clear mid/high frequencies. The Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT is an upgraded version of the Pioneer DJ DM-40BT and uses convex DECO diffusers. Thanks to the refreshed design and matching diffusers, the Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT has a noticeably wider sweet spot and a rich, filling 3D stereo image.
Optimized for the demanding DJ
The amplifier in the Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT is an entirely new class-D module with 96 kHz sampling DSP. When needed, this delivers extra power when you switch the DSP settings from production mode to DJ mode and back, via the rear switch. This guarantees the ideal sound in any situation. Bass response is further optimized by special grooves in the internal air channels. The rounded edges aren't just good-looking — they also minimize resonance for a clean sound at any volume.
Versatile connections, plus Bluetooth streaming.
The Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT is extremely versatile when it comes to connections. Pair via Bluetooth and stream your favorite tracks straight to your Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT speakers. On the back you'll find stereo RCA connections, a mini stereo jack and the newly added TRS inputs, for connecting devices like a studio laptop with a sound card, a DJ controller or a mixer.
At the front, the Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT has a handy headphone connection and volume control.
Bluetooth® connectivity
Thanks to Bluetooth® technology in the Pioneer DJ DM Series, you can easily pair your smartphone, mobile device or PC/Mac to play your music wirelessly in high quality.
Our Pro Gear audio expert's verdict on the Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT
The Pioneer DJ DM-40BT was already good value, but the Pioneer DJ DM-40D-BT is a whole different class, even though it comes from the same series. You clearly hear a beautiful stereo image, well-defined bass and sparkling highs, with a nice balance between low, mid and high. The 4" woofer just sounds smooth and tight, while the highs have a lovely fresh sound. Also very noticeable is the abundance of power the redesigned amplifier delivers.
