The Pioneer DJ VM-70 is active and delivers clear sound with a fast, powerful bass. The series is of course fully adjustable to the room it's placed in, making it ideal for reproducing a club sound. But a completely flat sound is possible too, which makes the Pioneer DJ VM-70 perfect for studio work.

Completely redesigned speaker line
The Pioneer DJ VM-70 studio monitor  is a completely redesigned speaker line built around superior sound reproduction and design. The Pioneer DJ VM-70 is active and delivers a clear sound with a fast, powerful bass. The series is, of course, fully adjustable to the room it's placed in, making it ideal for reproducing a club sound. But a completely flat sound is also possible, which makes the Pioneer DJ VM-70 perfect for studio work.

Every active VM studio monitor is equipped with a Class D amplifier with a 96 kHz sampling rate, so you can expect a natural, wide sound image. The 4 mm thick aluminum front panel resists resonance and reduces vibration. That means low distortion and even more energy.

Stunning punch
The woofer is made of aramid fiber and delivers a stunning punch that you really feel in the bass response. These newly developed cones are about 1/3 lighter than traditional cones, yet also stronger, allowing them to reproduce even lower frequencies. The bass reflex port features a Vortex Bass Accelerator, which uses ribs to ensure an unobstructed flow of air.

Mid and high frequencies are powerfully reproduced from the constant-directivity horn, which also delivers a wide and uniform listening zone. The shape of the horn and the woofer edge were specially developed so that the flat playback frequency transitions smoothly into the tweeter, creating a natural sound.

All speakers in the VM series are flat-tuned so you can hear the natural sound of the music. Every VM speaker is equipped with DSP control. On the back of the speakers you'll find two knobs: low EQ and high EQ. Without needing to look at the back panel, you can set each knob to four different positions, giving you a total of 16 possible EQ settings that are easy to operate. Choose the setting that sounds best for your DJ creations or the music you make at home or in a sound studio, depending on the shape, size, and construction of the room.
