Description
Programming with a mouse works fine, until you're on a production where every second counts and your hands belong on faders. The ChamSys MagicQ Stadium Connect puts the full MagicQ keyset, ten motorized faders, and two crossfaders on your desk, while your own laptop does the number crunching. You get the same programming logic as on an MQ250M or MQ500M, in a surface you carry under your arm. Build shows faster, without hauling a full console around.
Features
The ten motorized faders jump to match every page change, so you always see where your playbacks really sit. On top of that you get ten RGB-illuminated encoders as extra executors, four attribute encoders, and a separate intensity wheel for fine work. The dual 100mm crossfaders make theater pieces and cue stacks with manual transitions instantly playable. Buttons, fader tracks, and encoders are all illuminated, so you find your way in the dark too.

Do I still need a computer for this?
Yes. The Stadium Connect is a control surface: MagicQ runs on your own Windows, Mac, or Linux machine, and the desk controls that software.
Can I use my existing show files?
Yes, show files are interchangeable with the MQ250M, MQ500M, and the rest of the MagicQ range, in both directions.
Can I work without an external node?
For small rigs, yes, thanks to the four DMX outputs. If you want to send out more than four universes, you go via Art-Net or sACN.
