The Chauvet DJ Gobozap is a compact yet powerful LED barrel effect. With its bright, cool white LEDs, the Gobozap produces razor-sharp beams and vivid colors. The mirror wheel, better known as a barrel, dynamically reflects the bright colored beams all around. You’ll amaze the dance floor with the rich range of colors and gobos in this fixture.
A piece of lighting effect history, reworked
This zap effect dates back to the ’90s, when Martin’s Robozap was hugely popular. The downside of that type of fixture was its low light output and expensive halogen lamps with a limited lifespan. The Gobozap eliminates all these drawbacks. Thanks to its 2 powerful 90-watt LEDs with a lifespan of 50,000 hours, the Chauvet DJ Gobozap packs plenty of power. The range of gobos and colors has also been upgraded. No fewer than 13 vivid colors + white and 14 razor-sharp gobos + open, which can also scroll continuously, make the Gobozap a truly unique and versatile lighting effect.
Connectivity and ease of use
Chauvet DJ is known for its ease of use on the road. Up to 6 Gobozaps can be easily linked together using combi cables (carrying both power and DMX). It comes with plenty of built-in programs, sound-active or not. The Chauvet DJ Gobozap also works great in master/slave mode. Naturally, you can control all functions of the Chauvet DJ Gobozap via DMX or via the optional Chauvet DJ IRC-6 remote.
Versatile use and possibilities
With the included bracket, the Chauvet DJ Gobozap can be hung both horizontally and vertically. And thanks to its wide range (118 degrees all around), the Gobozap is perfect for immersing any dance floor in razor-sharp beams. The strobe function will amaze you too, with up to 20 flashes per second. With its low weight of just under 14 kg and economical power consumption, the Chauvet DJ Gobozap is a great choice for both fixed installations and mobile use.
