Description
The ChamSys MagicQ MQ50 compact lighting desk puts ten full cue stacks under your fingers and keeps eight universes in reserve, in a chassis you carry with one arm. Patch faster, program deeper, and keep everything in view on a 10.1" multitouch screen.
Under the hood runs the full MagicQ software, exactly the same as on the larger ChamSys desks. You drive 8 universes directly: four go out via 5-pin DMX outputs with RDM, the rest run over Art-Net or sACN. Ten playback faders, eight encoders, and a 10.1" HD multitouch display give direct control without digging through menus. And thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, you focus from the floor with the MagicQ Remote app.

FAQ
Do I get all 8 universes out of the DMX ports?
No. Four universes go out directly via the 5-pin XLR outputs; you send the other four to a node over the network with Art-Net or sACN.
Can I prep my show at home?
Yes. MagicQ is a free download for Windows, macOS, and Linux. You program on your laptop and then load the show file onto the desk.
Does the MQ50 support timecode?
No, this desk doesn't include timecode. For MIDI notes and audio-triggered chases, though, you're well covered.
