A fixed installation often demands the impossible: full lighting control, but no room for a console and staff who aren't lighting technicians. The ChamSys MagicQ Rack cuts through that knot. You get the full MagicQ software in a 1U chassis that simply disappears into your rack, with 24 universes, wall control, and schedules. You program it like any MagicQ console, the client just presses a button.
Under the hood it runs the same software as the MagicQ consoles, with a library of over 48,000 fixtures and RDM autopatch that does the patching for you. Day-to-day control can be handed to up to forty 10Scene wall panels across the four ports, or to the built-in scheduler that starts your day and evening settings on time. External systems connect via OSC, UDP, and MIDI, and the built-in wifi lets you adjust from a laptop or tablet without pulling a cable.

Can I program without a console?
Yes. Hook up a screen to the HDMI out with a mouse and keyboard on USB, or work wirelessly via wifi with MagicQ Remote on your laptop or tablet.
Will my show file from an MQ console run on this?
Yes, it's the same MagicQ software. You just swap show files, only your playback control differs.
How much DMX comes out of the unit physically?
Two universes on the XLR ports. The remaining universes go out over Art-Net or sACN, for example to SnakeSys nodes.
