Transmitter and receiver in one housing means you no longer need to haul around separate units: one device covers both roles. The hub is also compatible with ILS Command, so you can send or receive ILS protocols wirelessly. The USB-C passthrough lets you instantly power an extra device, and with the velcro strap and M10 thread, it's mounted on your truss in seconds. LED indicators show the TX/RX status and the active D-Fi frequency at a glance.

Not necessarily. Fixtures with a built-in D-Fi receiver pick up the signal directly from a hub in TX mode. Use a second hub in RX mode only if you need a classic XLR signal again on the other end.
