Each Freedom Par Q12 packs 12 quad-color RGBA LEDs at 6 W into a compact housing, delivering 4,185 lux at 2 meters. Thanks to the amber LED, you can mix warm tones a standard RGB par can't reach. The built-in battery lasts up to 7 hours on mixed colors and up to 9.5 hours on a single color, so a full party without a single cable is realistic. Can I use them wired with my DMX console?
Yes, each par has 3-pin XLR in and out and works in 4-, 6-, or 14-channel mode. Wireless via D-Fi works too.
Do I need to aim the remote at each fixture?
No. The RFC works via RF, not infrared, so line of sight isn't needed.
Are they suitable for outdoor use?
No, the Freedom Par Q12 has no IP rating. Indoors or under a dry canopy is your best bet.
