In addition to the standard dB(A) norm, the SPL6 also takes into account the bass in dB(C) and peaks in dB-peak in the music. With the 10-band octave limiter, noise nuisance can be further reduced per frequency band.
An enthusiastic crowd is naturally what every venue owner loves to see. However, this should not come at the expense of the music. That's why the SPL6 is equipped with correlation detection. The detection compares the music and the measurement, so the audience no longer has any influence on the limiter's readings.
