FAQ
Do I need a DMX controller to use the APP BAR 24?
No. Control is exclusively via the Bluetooth app on your Android or iOS smartphone. There are no DMX connections, and no extra hardware or controller is needed.
The bar restarts in a rainbow-flashing mode every time — how do I fix that?
That's the default behavior after a full power interruption: the APP BAR 24 doesn't remember its last setting. Keep the power on continuously and use the app to switch the bar on and off — that way it always starts in the mode you want.
Can I control multiple APP BAR 24 units at the same time?
That depends on what the companion app supports. Bluetooth has a limited range and typically supports only a limited number of simultaneous connections. For large setups with many fixtures, a DMX system is the better choice.
Is the APP BAR 24 suitable for permanent outdoor use?
IP65 means protection against water jets and dust, so a patio, party tent or facade lighting under a canopy is fine. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme frost falls outside the IP65 rating — for permanent outdoor installations, a sheltered mount is recommended.
