Any budget par can mix three colours. This 18x15W RGBWA LED par mixes five. It is exactly those two extra colours, white and amber, that separate washed-out approximations from pure stage white, warm uplighting and soft pastels. You buy the Free Color P1815 for one gig and end up taking it to every one after that.
Eighteen 15W 5-in-1 LEDs deliver serious output with a 25° beam angle: tight enough for accents, wide enough to wash a dancefloor. Thanks to dedicated white and amber LEDs you get natural skin tones and warm ambience without odd colour casts. Control the par over 5 or 9 DMX channels, or let it run on its own in auto, sound-active or master-slave mode. The multifunctional LCD display makes on-site setup surprisingly quick.

Can I use this par without a lighting console?
Yes. Pick auto or sound-active mode and the P1815 runs on its own. In master-slave mode, additional pars automatically follow the same show.
What does it add over a standard RGB par?
The extra white and amber LEDs produce pure white, warm tones and soft pastels you simply cannot mix with red, green and blue alone.
Is the P1815 suitable for outdoor use?
The manufacturer lists no IP rating, so treat it as an indoor fixture. Outdoors, only use it under cover and in dry conditions.
