Can I use the wireless remote while the DMX cable is also connected?
No. The SM07 works in one active mode at a time: DMX, wireless, or manual. You set which mode is active directly on the unit. In a DMX setup, the wireless control is therefore not operational at the same time.
Which fog fluid should I use?
The SM07 is compatible with standard water-based fog fluid on a glycol/water basis, available in light, medium, and heavy density. Choose the density based on your venue and the effect you want. Avoid cheap no-name fluids, as they can foul the heating element.
How many DMX channels does the SM07 need?
Just 1 DMX channel. That keeps your DMX universe tidy, especially if you're running multiple fog machines in a show.
Is the SM07 suitable for outdoor use?
