Description
HK Audio POLAR 10 MK2: compact active column PA with 2000 W peak. It gives you the punch of a full-size PA, the clarity of a real compression driver and a setup that is ready in two minutes.
The low-resonance aluminium column keeps distortion down and pairs six 3-inch drivers with a 1-inch compression driver on a constant-directivity horn: 120° horizontal coverage and a tight 30° vertical beam. Below it, a 10-inch subwoofer in plywood reaches down to 38 Hz and hits 130 dB peak. The Class D bi-amped power stage delivers 500 W RMS and 2000 W peak, controlled by a DSP with 3-band EQ, semi-parametric mids and five storable user presets. The built-in 4-channel mixer with phantom power, instrument input, stereo RCA and Bluetooth 5.0 TWS makes an external mixer redundant.

Pro Tip: Use the delay function when you run the system as a delay line next to a main PA, and save your EQ per venue as a user preset: next time your sound is ready in twenty seconds. For a bass-heavy dance floor, add a second system or an extra sub rather than cranking the EQ; the limiter will hold you back anyway.

Yes, wirelessly via Bluetooth TWS, or wired from the XLR mix output of the first system into an input on the second.
How many people will one system cover?
Count on parties up to around 200 people with music at a proper level. For more punch on the dance floor, add a second system or an extra sub.
What is the difference with the POLAR 8 MK2?
The 10 MK2 has a 10-inch sub, 2000 W peak, a real compression driver in the column and a fourth channel for instruments. It goes lower and louder; the 8 MK2 stays the lighter option with 1200 W, 120 dB and three channels.
