The sound level meter is a small handheld device with many functions, such as peak measurements, Leq value calculation, and adjustable measuring ranges. It can also freeze the highest measured value using the MAX function, so you can accurately assess whether a limit has been exceeded. Its special feature is the Leq value, which, after entering a time period, shows the equivalent continuous sound level, i.e. the time-averaged value of all sound events within an observation period.
The memory function offers 99 storage locations that can only be recalled via the sound level meter. The backlit display makes readings easy, and the meter automatically switches off after 10 minutes without use.
A battery symbol indicates when the three AAA batteries need replacing. This class 2 sound level meter is used in the workplace, e.g. for protecting employees against noise, or simply for a quick measurement of ambient noise levels.
