Let your audience go completely wild with the new Merge effects, switch effortlessly to a different music style regardless of tempo or pitch, and create pumping transitions whenever you want, all with a handy twist of the knob. In the new merge FX section of your Rekordbox software, you can personalize the 4 merge effects yourself, choosing from up to 41 effect types per element (Build FX, Build Sample, Release FX and Drop Sample) and combining them into more than 9000 different merge effects. Then select your Merge FX and press the button to start the effect. Ready for more? Turn the knob and feel the tension build...
Drop in 3, 2, 1.. press the button and the effect is released, your chosen sample (if any) plays, and the current track stops. Now all you need to do is start the next track, and that's it!
Prefer working with the performance pads? Then be sure to use the new Sample Scratch mode in Rekordbox, which lets you quickly load samples onto your decks and scratch and remix with your favorite sounds. You can also make use of the hot cues, pad fx, beat jump and sampler functions. Not enough effects yet? Choose which Beat FX you use most, switch them on with the well-known blue button, and decide how much effect is applied using the knob.
Scratch Like a Pro
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX6 is equipped with the Jog Cutter. Turn on the Jog Cutter, spin the jog wheel, and add a professional-sounding scratch effect to your set without ever needing the crossfader! The scratch effect is based on your last hot cue or cue point in the track, and you can trigger up to 10 different scratch effects depending on the playback position. Prefer to scratch the normal way instead? Then the Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX6 has you covered. Its large jog wheels, the same size as those on the very latest Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 no less, feel super natural for scratching or pitch bending, and thanks to the built-in display you get a clear view of your playback position!
Rekordbox, Virtual DJ & Serato DJ pro
With the Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX6 you can get started right away thanks to the built-in sound card and support for both Rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro software. Just connect the controller to the laptop your software is installed on using the included USB cable, and off you go — no expensive subscriptions, extra hardware, or drivers needed! The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX6 comes with a free Serato Pitch 'n Time DJ expansion pack and the Serato FX pack. Let loose with single FX or multi FX mode and put on an incredible show! This Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX6 4-channel DJ controller, with the layout of the classic CDJ + DJM setup, has been given a stylish new look with a beautiful matte dark grey finish. The redesigned jog wheels and the integrated merge FX knobs are just a few of the fun features on this controller. Thanks to the large scroll button, you browse your library, folders, and tracks with ease. Load your track straight to the right deck with the "Load" button above each channel, and enjoy a trim, 3-band EQ, and filter knob per channel.
