Stunningly clear sound quality
The DJM-A9 delivers noticeably crisper, clearer sound quality, so every track lands exactly right and hits the venue exactly as intended! This next-generation club sound is the result of extensive development and refinement of existing technology, along with the addition of brand-new components, including ESS Technology 32-bit high-end A/D and D/A converters in the channel section and outputs respectively. Your sound reaches the listener flawlessly, which of course means an even better experience in the club!
Improved playability
The DJM-A9 has more space around the EQ knobs, clearer LEDs in the channel section, optimized frequency response on the isolators, and smoother channel faders than the DJM-900NXS2. Add the third-generation MAGVEL FADER crossfader and you've got a mixer that does exactly what you want, exactly when you want it!
Sound Color FX with the world's first Center Lock
When the brand-new Center Lock function is switched on and you use Sound Color FX, the knob stops turning once it hits the center position. That means you can't over-turn it and accidentally flip to the opposite parameter. Of course, you can also switch Center Lock off whenever you want to go completely crazy!
New, advanced Beat FX
The new color display on the DJM-A9 helps you check the status of the selected Beat FX quickly and accurately, and the lighting mirrors the horizontal layout of the X-Pad, so you can control Beat FX more intuitively with one simple finger movement. The DJM-A9 packs 14 (!) Beat FX to play with, including 3 new ones: Mobius, Triplet Filter, and Triplet Roll.
Improved microphone section
The microphone input now also includes phantom power, so high-quality condenser microphones can be connected directly to the DJM-A9. There are also 3 new microphone effects and a dedicated reverb effect just for the microphone section, so your MC skills sound even better while the other effects stay free for your channels!
