The PLX-500 series has a powerful direct-drive motor and comes complete with cartridge, stylus, and slipmat, so you can start right away.

Digitize vinyl via USB and play digitally via DJ software
Pioneer DJ has chosen to prepare this turntable for the current era by adding a USB port. This gives you the option to connect it directly to your computer and make high-quality recordings. Use the free Rekordbox software to digitize all your records, or use it with the rekordbox DVS Plus Pack to play and scratch digital files when combined with a compatible Pioneer DJ DJM mixer and the Pioneer DJ RB-VS1-K Control Vinyl.
