Description
Pioneer DJ's VM studio monitor series is a completely redesigned speaker line built with superior sound reproduction and design as top priorities. The Pioneer DJ VM-50-W is active and delivers a clear sound with fast, powerful bass. Naturally, the series is fully adjustable to the room it's placed in. Ideal for reproducing a club sound. But a completely flat sound is also possible, making the Pioneer DJ VM-50-W perfect for studio work.
Class D amplifier
Every active VM studio monitor is equipped with a Class D amplifier with a sampling rate of 96 kHz, giving you a natural, wide sound image. The 4 mm thick aluminum front panel resists resonance and reduces vibration, for low distortion and even more energy.
Stunning punch...
The woofer is made of aramid fiber and delivers stunning punch you can really feel in the bass response. These newly developed cones are about 1/3 lighter than traditional cones, yet also stronger, letting them reproduce even lower frequencies. The bass reflex port features a Vortex Bass Accelerator, whose ribs ensure an unobstructed flow of air. Mid and high frequencies are powerfully reproduced by the constant-directivity horn, which also delivers a wide, uniform listening zone. The shape of the horn and the woofer edge were specially developed so the flat playback frequency transitions smoothly into the tweeter, creating a natural sound.
Set high & low
All speakers in the VM series are flat-tuned so you can hear the natural sound of the music. Every VM speaker is equipped with DSP control. On the back of the speakers you'll find two knobs: low EQ and high EQ. Without having to look at the back panel, you can set each knob to one of four positions, giving you a total of 16 possible EQ settings that are easy to control. Choose the setting that sounds best for your dj creations or the music you make at home or in a sound studio, depending on the shape, size, and construction of the room.
