The Pioneer DJ VM-70 studio monitor is a completely new, redesigned speaker line built around superior sound reproduction and design. The Pioneer DJ VM-70 is active and delivers a clear sound with fast, powerful bass. Naturally, the series is fully adjustable to the room it stands in. Ideal, then, for reproducing a club sound. But a fully flat sound is possible too, which makes the Pioneer DJ VM-70 perfect for studio work.
Every active VM studio monitor is fitted with a Class D amplifier with a 96 kHz sampling rate, so you can expect a natural, wide sound image. The 4 mm thick aluminum front panel resists resonance and reduces vibration. Lower distortion, and even more energy.
Stunning Punch
The woofer is made of aramid fiber and delivers a stunning punch you can really feel in the bass response. These newly developed cones are roughly 1/3 lighter than traditional cones, yet also stronger, so they can reproduce even lower frequencies. The bass reflex port features a Vortex Bass Accelerator, which uses ribbing to ensure an unobstructed flow of air.
Mid and high frequencies are powerfully reproduced from the horn with constant directivity, which also delivers a wide, uniform listening zone. The shape of the horn and the woofer edge were specially developed so the flat frequency response transitions smoothly into the tweeter, creating a natural sound.
Every speaker in the VM series is tuned flat so you can hear the true, natural sound of the music. Every VM speaker is equipped with DSP control. On the back of the speakers you'll find two knobs: low EQ and high EQ. Without needing to look at the rear panel, you can set each knob to one of four different positions, giving you 16 possible EQ settings in total that are easy to control. Choose the setting that sounds best for your DJ productions or the music you make at home or in a recording studio, depending on the shape, size, and construction of the room.
