Description
The XPRS2 series combines the versatility and mobility of the original XPRS series with improved sound performance and clarity to deliver a high-quality speaker system for mobile DJs & live sound in rental and fixed installations.
The sound of the XPRS2 is richly defined, with a crisp high end and a tight midrange. The bass is definitely present and punches through well. The XPRS2 series comes well equipped with an easily adjustable DSP (Digital Sound Processor) that lets you tweak the tonal character, and also set, for example, a delay or crossover function.
Threaded pole mount
Unlike the XPRS1182S, the XPRS1182ST has a standard metal pole mount with an M20 threaded connection for stability in your setup.
Powerful Class D amplification
The XPRS2 series uses high-output Class D amplification for a powerful, top-tier audio experience for artists and listeners alike. The XPRS102 and XPRS122 full-range speakers feature Class D 2000 W amplification, while the XPRS1152ST and XPRS1182ST subwoofers deliver Class D 4000 W amplification.
High quality, rugged build
The all-new XPRS2 series from Pioneer DJ features a streamlined, all-black, protective polywood enclosure for performances in the toughest indoor and outdoor environments. Every model in the series ships with a durable handle to support portability and handling during load-in and load-out. The XPRS2 series also features rubber feet to absorb shock between surfaces.
Three DSP modes
Both XPRS2 subwoofers include three different DSP presets - Boost, Extended LF, and Normal - for different listening environments.
Precise audio performance / frequency response
The XPRS1182ST is built around an 18-inch ferrite woofer with a long-excursion 3-inch coil to produce low frequencies with extreme accuracy.
Offers a frequency range of 40 Hz - 120 Hz and a maximum SPL of 130 dB; the subwoofers deliver the performance of a permanently installed subwoofer with the compact portability needed for smooth load-in and load-out.
