Description

The Pro Lux ARC 4418IP is an IP65 architectural LED flood with 44 RGBWA+UV LEDs at 18 W each, built to wash buildings, façades and set pieces in colour whatever the weather does. One fixture, one power cable, and that grey wall becomes the backdrop of the night.

At its heart sit 44 6-in-1 LEDs (RGBWA+UV) delivering more than 16.7 million colours, with amber and UV on board for warmer tones and deep blacklight effects. The 25° beam throws that colour cleanly across a façade or scenic wall, and thanks to the IP65 housing with waterproof XLR and powerCON connectors it can stay out in the rain. Control it via DMX512 or RDM in 6 or 11 channels, or let it run on its own in auto, sound or master-slave mode. Everything is set on the LCD display, no laptop needed.

Key features

  • One flood that fills an entire façade or scenic wall, with no hotspots thanks to the 25° optics
  • Amber and UV in the mix: warm white that actually looks warm, and blacklight on demand
  • IP65: no rain cover, no stress at an outdoor event in October
  • 6- or 11-channel DMX mode, as simple or as detailed as your show requires
  • Standalone in auto, sound or master-slave mode, handy for fixed installs without a controller
  • Electronic strobe up to 25 fps and 0-100% dimmer for both show and ambience
  • powerCON in/out and XLR in/out: fast daisy-chaining across a row of fixtures

Pro Tip Place the ARC 4418IP as low as possible and angled upwards against the façade: that gets the most out of the 25° beam and gives you a smooth gradient over the full height. Blend a touch of amber into your white so brick and natural stone read as warm rather than cold.

FAQ

Can I use the ARC 4418IP without a controller?

Yes. In auto or sound mode it runs on its own, and master-slave lets several fixtures follow the same programmes. For your own scenes and colour transitions you will need a DMX controller.

Do I need a rain cover?

No. With its IP65 rating and waterproof connectors the fixture can stay outside in rain and dust. Do use cables with IP connectors though, otherwise the plug becomes the weakest link.

Can it be used indoors too?

Of course, but keep the 25° beam and the power in mind: this is a flood for large surfaces, not a par for a small function room.

What is the difference between 6- and 11-channel mode?

The 6-channel mode is meant for simple colour control, the 11-channel mode adds parameters such as dimmer, strobe and built-in programmes. Check the manual for the exact channel layout.
