Smooth belt drive and low-noise DC motor
The TURN2's precise belt drive delivers consistent platter speed with minimal wow and flutter. The built-in, low-vibration DC motor is extremely quiet, so the TURN2 can be placed comfortably in listening rooms or living rooms. The integrated motor control can easily be switched between 33 1/3 and 45 RPM using the speed selector switch, located under the chassis in keeping with the player's minimal design.
Statically balanced, straight tonearm with optimal tracking performance
The TURN2 is equipped with a statically balanced, straight tonearm, featuring an angled headshell and Ortofon cartridge that sits perfectly in the record groove. The tonearm's manual lift lets you lower the needle onto the record with precision. The anti-skating mechanism ensures the best possible tracking performance.
Flexible headshell connection
The headshell connection makes the TURN2 a truly flexible performer. Thanks to the GM/SME locking mechanism, you can easily swap between pick-up cartridges mounted on different headshells.
Stylish, slim matte housing with high-quality terminal
Besides the connection for the external DC power supply, the back of the TURN2 features two gold-plated, corrosion-resistant RCA connections and a separate ground connection to prevent possible ground loops. All cable connections are detachable, so they can easily be replaced or upgraded later. The heavy MDF plinth has an extremely slim design and is available in a matte black, red or white finish. The elegant design of the TURN2 is harmoniously rounded off by a cast aluminum platter with high moment of inertia and chrome edges.
