What's the difference between the DR-40XP and the DR-40X?
The DR-40XP adds three key upgrades: 32-bit float recording (no more clipping), TASCAM HDDA preamps with a much lower noise floor, and USB-C instead of Micro-B. It also supports microSDXC cards up to 512 GB and has an extra low-cut filter setting (220 Hz).
