As the successor to the successful DDJ-400, the new Pioneer DJ DDJ FLX4 is ready to jumpstart your DJ career.
This compact yet versatile 2-channel DJ controller has everything a beginning DJ needs to quickly and easily get comfortable with smooth transitions, loops, cuts, and hot cueing.
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 also features the well-known Pioneer DJ club layout, adopted from the professional Pioneer DJ gear used at the biggest events worldwide. Thanks to its solid, compact size, the Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 is also your ideal travel partner for DJing anywhere.
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 comes with a free license for full Rekordbox use (performance mode, export mode, etc.): as soon as you plug the controller into your laptop, this license key activates and you can download Rekordbox. You can then also use streaming platforms such as TIDAL, Beatport, Beatsource, or SoundCloud Go+, since these are compatible with Rekordbox. Beginning DJs can also use the built-in tutorials in Rekordbox, which walk you through the DJ software and its features.
And it doesn't stop there: unlike its predecessor, the Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 is now also compatible with Serato DJ. This means Serato DJ fans can now enjoy the FLX4 controller too. You can use the free Serato DJ Lite version to DJ, and if you'd rather work with Serato DJ Pro, an additional license can be purchased.
Smart Mixing Features
The Pioneer DJ DDJ-FLX4 is equipped with the new Smart Mixing Feature for smooth yet professional transitions. Smart faders let you adjust volume, bass level, and BPM, so moving the channel faders or crossfader easily blends one track into the next. This feature helps you get familiar with the different techniques for mixing tracks together.

This is a great controller for anyone looking to explore DJing, and a fine successor to the Pioneer DJ DDJ-400, itself already one of the best controllers in its price range. The FLX4 may be compact, but it packs a huge range of features that let you get the same sound from your deck as professional DJ gear. A real recommendation!
